Yellowwood

Yellowwood, a tree native to the southeastern United States, is named for its heartwood, the center core of the trunk, which is used for its color in decorative woodworking. The tree has wisteria-like, trailing white flowers that attract bees and butterflies, and in the fall its foliage turns bright yellow, gold, and orange.
