Japanese skimmia

Japanese skimmias are dense evergreen shrubs. In the spring, they have clusters of small fragrant flowers, which are followed by red fruits in the fall and winter. They are very tolerant of a variety of conditions, such as frost, pollution, and drought, making them a popular choice for parks and gardens. Japanese skimmia also are suitable to be grown as bonsai.
