Halley’s Comet Florida anise

While very similar to other varieties of Florida anise in Mellon’s garden, “Halley’s Comet’s” flowers are dark red, not white. This variety is often chosen not just for its red flowers, which are common among other varieties of Florida anise, but because the “Halley’s Comet” blooms display more prominently than other varieties, which can be lost in the foliage.
